Conflict cards bring specific abilities and weapons of troops into play. Used alongside Mastery Cards in CR they increase your options in the games. For example, troops armed with halbard type weapons will be able to unhorse mounted opponents. Troops with weapons such as great swords can cut the tops off pikes and spears. All such specifics are brought into play with Conflict Cards.
